Born and raised in Belgium, Amelie dreamed as a child to be an animator for Disney. She wanted to be part of creating more magic for the world. She studied fashion design in Paris and got a Master in Psychology, all the while diving deeper into fine art and spirituality, before moving to the US in 2012 and attending the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Through 20 years of meditation and personal work, she has aimed to deepen her connexion to her inner power, as well as the greater power of the universe.

Amelie uses gold or silver gilding and mixed media along with tradition realistic oil painting to depict goddesses, deities, and other aspects of the Divine Feminine. Her work is aimed at bringing a modern voice to ancient spiritual wisdom. From Celtic Goddesses to Hindu deities, as well as nymphs and symbolic animals, she is bringing us to a space where we can reconnect to the magic woven in everyday life, as well as our inner strength and power.

Amelie works out of her home studio in Denver, Colorado, usually joined by her cat White Paw. Finding calm and inspiration in nature, she loves to be outside in the Colorado sun and tend to her garden. She plans on continuing to add goddesses and deities to her body of work, and dive deeper into ancient knowledge of the Goddess and the Divine Feminine.
